On 20 June 2025, an appreciation dinner for the outgoing Board members was hosted by Bar Council at Cili Kampung Hartamas.

On February 13, 2025, the Office Bearers of the Bar Council hosted a dinner at Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara Hotel, to honor Tan Sri Rohana Binti Yusuf, marking the conclusion of her tenure as Chairman of the Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Board from February 2023 to February 2025.

On 23 June 2023, the Bar Council hosted an appreciation dinner for the outgoing Board members (2019-2023) at Le Méridien Hotel Kuala Lumpur.

On February 09, 2023, the Bar Council hosted a dinner at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral Hotel, to bid farewell to Tan Sri Dato’ Mohamad Ariff Bin Md Yusof, after two years as Chairman of the Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Board from February 2021 to February 2023.

On November 11, 2022, the Office Bearers of the Bar Council has hosted a dinner at Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur in appreciation of the hard work and contribution of the Disciplinary Board members for year 2021-2023.

After four years since their first visit in 2018, Sabah Advocates Disciplinary Board returned to share further insights with our Board Members on the overview of respective disciplinary processes.

Representing their DB were: Tan Sri David Wong (SADB Chairman), Mr Roger Chin (President of Sabah Law Society), Mr Daniel Tan & Datuk John Sikayun (SADB Members) and Ms Nadia Fong (Secretary to SADB).

On 15 November 2018, we held our 281st Board meeting at our new premises at Level 5, Wisma Badan Peguam Malaysia, No 2, Lebuh Pasar Besar, 50050 Kuala Lumpur for the first time.

On May 17, 2018, the Advocates & Solicitors Disciplinary Board received a courtesy call from members of the Disciplinary Board of the Sabah Law Society. Representing their DB and Society were: Mr Brenndon Soh (Law Society President); Roger Chin (Law Society Vice-President); DB Chairman, Datuk Douglas Primus (retired High Court Judge); Datuk Stephen Foo (a former AG of Sabah); Datuk John Sikayun (a past President of Sabah Law Association); Mr Daniel Tan Jwee Peng (a past President of Sabah Law Association) and Mr Ho Kin Kong (a past President of the Sabah Law Association).

On November 3, 2017, the Bar Council hosted an appreciation dinner for the outgoing Board (2015-2017) members at Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. Guest-of-Honour: Chief Judge of Malaya, YAA Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Ahmad bin Haji Maarop.
